Laus Deo Semper http www.CobusPotgieter.com This is a drum cover of the song Avenged Sevenfold as well. I had only been playing bass for a couple of months at the time of this recorder, please be lenient with him about the comments;) For the record all shots were taken with a pedal, ie, only at the end of gutiar as you can see very clearly how bad I was tired after this piece:) I would like to show you hve FootCam this, but I forgot the returnThird band for the entire set, and then with some songs I couln't FootCam unfortunately the shots. I must stress that I know calls it a "cover" is wrong because I only partially true, the song the battery (or lack thereof) remained throughout the song I play some variations, phrasing, beats and fills, as 99% what I play is improvised. Although I do my share of studio sessions and playing the drums, which have done little to zero effect on these videos, I see it as a way to livePerformance. I'm not exactly be the intent of the original battery, I'm just for fun. And I thoroughly to do this, I would like to add a hit:) Avenged Sevenfold - Afterlife 2008 self-titled release is the copyrighted property of its owner (s). (External) Drums by Cobus Potgieter. Cobus - Avenged Sevenfold - Bat Country (DRUMS COVER)
Laus Deo Semper www.facebook.com This is a drum cover (from the Dual-Cam Series) of A7X's damn cool song, Bat Country. Please keep in mind I played this with one bassdrum pedal, as opposed to the doublebass the rev used in the original recording of the song.. :) I have to emphasize, I know calling this a "cover" is wrong, seeing as I only PARTLY stayed true to the song's drums, through the WHOLE song i play some variations of the beats, phrasing and fills, I'm NOT aiming to be accurate to the original drums, I'm just aiming to enjoy myself.. :) And I thouroughly succeeded in doing that, I might add ;) Avenged Sevenfold - Bat Country from the 2005 release City of Evil is the copyrigthed property of its owner. Cobus - Avenged Sevenfold - Afterlife (Drum Cover)
Laus Deo Semper. www.cobuspotgieter.com http This is a drum cover of Avenged Sevenfold's song, afterlife. I had only been playing doublebass for a few months at the time of this recordig, so please be lenient with he comments about that ;) For the record, ALL double strokes were played with one pedal, ie the ones at the end of the gutiar solo, as you can very clearly see by how crazily tired I was after that piece :) I would hve LOVED to show you the footcam of this, but I forgot to rewind the tape for the whole third set, so with a few songs I unfortunately couln't use the footcam shots. I have to emphasize, I know calling this a "cover" is wrong, seeing as I only PARTLY stayed true to the song's drums (or lack thereof), through the WHOLE song I play some variations of the beats, phrasing and fills, since 99% of what I play is improvised. Even though I have done my fair share of session and studio drumming, that has little to zero effect on these video's, I kind of see them as live performances. I'm NOT aiming to be accurate to the original drums, I'm just aiming to enjoy myself. And I thoroughly succeeded in doing that, might I add :) Avenged Sevenfold - Afterlife from the 2008 self-titled release is the copyrighted property of it's owner(s).
